Roastery Operations During Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak

As we enter a third period of National Lockdown, we have made some further changes to ensure that we can continue to roast great coffee safely and securely. As ever, we would like to thank both new and existing customers for their continued support.


Key points


  • We are aware of intermittent, localised delays at Royal Mail meaning in some instances, orders are taking up to a week to arrive. Please make an allowance for this and try to be patient during these unprecedented times. Royal Mail's own service update can be found here.

  • Standard UK delivery is via Royal Mail 48.

  • Premium UK delivery is via DPD Local. This is a next working day courier service.

  • The serving 'hatch' at the roastery is temporarily closed. We hope this will only be for a short period and will keep this under review. Our customers may order online or over the telephone and collect their order from a secure location 24/7.

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak, we have seen a significant increase in the number of people ordering their coffee from us online. We are grateful for this whilst being mindful of the ongoing challenges faced by our wholesale customers, who operate cafes and coffee shops.


We conscious of our responsibilities towards customers and our employees. We have reconfigured the roastery so that it is a 'COVID-19 Secure' workplace and where possible staff are carrying out some activities from home. The roastery remains closed to the general public at the moment.


Royal Mail are operating a full service, albeit slower due to Coronavirus related staff absences and the general increase in online spending in the run up to Christmas.


Standard UK delivery is via Royal Mail 48. 📨


Premium UK delivery is via DPD Local. This is a next working day courier service. 📦


Customers may also 'click and collect' (select this option at the checkout). Please wait for the confirmation email to arrive before setting out. All collections are left in a safe place.
