Bean Smitten Coffee Roasters was founded on the principle of making speciality coffee accessible to all. We love sharing our knowledge and passion for good coffee with our customers. Socially responsible choices help us make sure we are using sustainable sources, reducing, reusing, and recycling wherever possible, diminishing our environmental footprint.
All our coffee beans are traceable to origin. Whether it be a single estate, washing station or farmer’s co-operative you can be sure of your coffee's provenance. You can also rest assured that the farmer has been paid a fair price and is additionally supported through programmes of education, technical support, and community welfare.
We are proud of our attention to detail and consistency in our roasting. Our focus is firmly on providing reliably high-quality coffee beans to businesses, as well as a range of specialty single origin coffees and blends to customers at home.
We are privately owned, and we love working with other independent businesses across Kent and East Sussex. We ‘support local’ and reward customer loyalty. We have access to some of the finest coffees worldwide and we aim to talk to you about them in a straightforward and unpretentious way.
But, most of all we enjoy roasting great coffee that makes people happy!
